The Miseducation of Me...

So this year, the hubster and I had the worst fight in our relationship history.. Yeah, it was bad.

J & A III

Surprisingly there wasn’t any screaming, or crying; we actually entertained guests twice the weekend this brief stint of hell happened and no one even had a clue. Remember I’m two-faced right? Well it turns out the hubster is too. I thank him for this.  Anyway, this post is not to re-cap why we fought; as I write this, it’s all good in the hood and the hubby and I made up a while back. The point is while we were fighting, in the midst of *wink* playing sad love songs and moping around the house, I realized a few things about marriage…

sad girl

1- Marriage  (True Love)is not a bed of roses

2-Sex is a temporary distraction, it does not make anything permanently better

3-Marriage (True Love) makes you vulnerable, just accept it

4- In Marriage (True Love), if your partner hurts, you hurt

5- Ultimately, True love never fails…

....Please don't fight :-(
On a real though, what you wrote is very real! True love hurts sometimes but it's the love that sustains and keeps you going back and of course the grace of God!
Thanks for sharing xx

While I am not married... I totally agree to this. Thanks for sharing ma.

But I have to ask... why do you feel sex is a temporary distraction...?

Sir me Sir...Sex is a temporary distraction if the foundation is a mess. Yes, you feel bliss for the few seconds you're in it but the mess you have is still waiting for you. You can;t live in a continuous orgasm; now can you?
