To the Lost....

“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”
                                                                                         ------Romans 8 vs 18

This is my last post of the year 2014 and as usual, I dedicate it to a very special set of people; the hurting, lost, broken and unwanted. I don't think there is anywhere I could go or how rich I could be or what life might bring that could make me forget about the broken specially during Christmas season. About a decade ago, I spent this season mourning what  I thought I had lost and as I watched the world prep and enjoy the holidays; I felt so ALONE. I may not know you or what you are going through but I am here to tell you that I, Inthemidstofher, am thinking of you but more importantly is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Christ has a purpose and promise for your life. he gave it all for you  to know that “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.  When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”

 Secret Sorrow

I bet the pain is overwhelming, the fear choking, the sadness numbing, the heartache killing but know, believe that there is light at the end of the tunnel and those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. You might wonder where God is but believe me, he is right there, in that room, in the midst of the sorrow and darkness, he has never been closer. For no one is cast off by the Lord forever.  Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love.  For he does not willingly bring affliction or grief to ayone. So if you need to cry or scream go ahead but never, ever doubt that you are loved. Remember the greatest love of all (God the father) gave the greatest gift of all (Christ the son) to redeem you! So you ARE of worth! Don't believe the lies of the enemy telling you different. When I'm sad, second only to the word and prayer is music.  I leave you now with one of my favorite songs to play when I am down. I've added the lyrics and bolded some words I want you to hold on, meditate and believe in.

"Before The Morning"

Do you wonder why you have to,
Feel the things that hurt you,
If there's a God who loves you,
Where is He now?

Maybe, there are things you can't see
And all those things are happening
To bring a better ending
Some day, some how, you'll see, you'll see

Would dare you, would you dare, to believe,
That you still have a reason to sing,
'cause the pain you've been feeling,
Can't compare to the joy that's coming

So hold on, you got to wait for the light
Press on, just fight the good fight
Because the pain you've been feeling,
It's just the dark before the morning

My friend, you know how this all ends
And you know where you're going,
You just don't know how you get there
So just say a prayer.
And hold on, cause there's good who love God,
Life is not a snapshot, it might take a little time,
But you'll see the bigger picture

Would dare you, would you dare, to believe,
That you still have a reason to sing,
'cause the pain you've been feeling,
Can't compare to the joy that's coming

So hold on, you got to wait for the light
Press on, just fight the good fight
Because the pain you've been feeling,
It's just the dark before the morning

Yeah, yeah,
Before the morning,
Yeah, yeah

Once you feel the way of glory,
All your pain will fade to memory
Once you feel the way of glory,
All your pain will fade to memory
Memory, memory, yeah

Would dare you, would you dare, to believe,
That you still have a reason to sing,
'cause the pain you've been feeling,
Can't compare to the joy that's coming

Would dare you, would you dare, to believe,
That you still have a reason to sing,
'cause the pain you've been feeling,
Can't compare to the joy that's coming

Com'n, you got to wait for the light
Press on, just fight the good fight
Because the pain you've been feeling,
It's just the hurt before the healing

The pain you've been feeling,
Just the dark before the morning
Before the morning, yeah, yeah
Before the morning

Now usually during Christmas, while my "Dear Inthe..." box remains open, any Q's I get from now will be answered next year. This year differs and I am extending an offer today. If you are broken, mourning, in pain or even suicidal and need someone to listen to you, share your fears with or even pray with you, please send me an email at "Inthemidstofher@gmail.com". These emails will be answered urgently and confidentially (not appearing on my blog).  I do not have all the answers but I will hold you up and escort you to the savior who does.
